※ 전시는 사전 예약 없이 운영시간 내 자유관람이 가능하며 입장료는 무료입니다. 

The exhibition is open to free viewing within operation hours without prior reservation, and admission is free. 

2026년 국제 홀로코스트 추모일을 기념하여 “미래를 위한 기억” Remembering for the Future 라는 주제로 팰릭스 누스바움 협회의 전시회 “펠릭스 누스바움과 함께 하는 여정”과 야드 바쉠 국제 홀로코스트 박물관의 전시회 “아우슈비츠-지구상의 한 장소: 아우슈비츠 앨범”이 열립니다. 

In commemoration of the 2026 Ivternational Holocaust Remembrance Day, “Remembering for the Future” features the exhibition “On the move with Felix Nussbaum” by the Felix-Nussbaum-Gesellschaft and the exhibition “Auschwitx-A Place on Earth: The Auschwitx Album” by Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Rememvbrance Center.

“팰릭스 누스바움과 함꼐 하는 여정”을 찾아주신 관람객 여러분, 이 특별한 전시 장소에 오신 것을 진심으로 환영합니다. 펠릭스 누스바움의 20점의 작품이 이번에 처음으로 유럽을 벗어나 대한민국에서 전시됩니다. 이는 1월 27일을 기념하여 이번 전시회를 개최하고자 한 독일대사관의 초청에 따른 것입니다. 1월 27일은 국제 홀로코스트 희생자 추모의 날이자 독일에서는 나치 희생자 추모의 날입니다. 펠릭스 누스바움은 그 희생자 중 한 명이었습니다. 따라서 그가 남긴 작품을 여러분께 선보일 수 있게 된 것은 우리에게 특별한 영광이자 의무입니다. 이번 전시회를 통해 여러분께 이 화가를 처음 소개하고, 그가 오늘날 유럽 회화에서 차지하는 의미를 보여드리고자 합니다. “내가 사라지더라도 내 그림들은 죽이지 말고 사람들에게 보여주세요” 펠릭스 누스바움이 남긴 이 유언은 우리에게 출발점이자 동기 부여가 됩니다. 우리는 그의 유언에 따라 홀로코스트를 다룬 그의 그림들과 그의 예술적 위대함을 국제적으로 널리 알리고자 합니다. 

Dear visitors to the travelling exhibition “On the move with Felix Nussbaum”, I warmly welcome you to this very special stop in the Republic of Korea. For the first time, twenty works of the painter Felix Nussbaum are on display outside Europe in the form of fine art prints. We are following the invitation of the German Embassy, which has chosen to present our exhibition on the occasion of ‘International Holocaust Remembrance Day’ on 27 January. In Germany, the 27 January commemorates the “Day of Remembrance for the Victims of National Socialism”. Felix Nussbaum was one of those victims. It is therefore both our special honour and moral obligation to present his work to you. This may be your first encounter with the painter and it is our aim to make you realize the significannt influemce his work has had on modern European painting. “If perish, do not let may paintings die. Show them to the people.” This wish voiced by Felix Nussbaum is starting point and motivation for us to honour his legacy and make his paintings about the Holocaust and his artistic greatness reach a wide international audience.
